The southbound lanes of I- 85 in Coweta County near Newnan were closed for nearly an hour when a motorist was struck and killed early Tuesday after his car broke down.
Terrance Harvey, 42, of Forest Park and his brother were driving to work at a construction job in Newnan shortly after 6:30 a.m. when Harvey’s car stalled, authorities said.
Coweta Sheriff’s Lt. John LaChance said because of highway work, there was no emergency lane.
The two men got out of the car to get to safety behind a barrier wall, but Harvey decided to try to start the car one more time.
LaChance said that when Harvey did so, he and his car were struck by another vehicle and he was thrown from the vehicle and struck several times. LaChance said the other driver was a 24-year-old man living in Norcross who faces charges of driving without a valid license.

BTW. I'm against illegal immigration as much as I am for safety. The two are not unreconcillable. :)

Amazing how you could know about something that never happened. The fact is that if the illegal was kept out of the US, he wouldn't have killed this man.

That was a dead give away. I always expect these things to be covered up.
The issue is not illegal immigration but rather the bad luck of a car breaking down in an Interstate highway construction zone and the decedant's poor decision to get back into the car.
The hell it dont! If you have a valid drivers licence chances are you past a test to get it.They do test ones ability to stop the vehicle in emergency situations.Obviously you are an open borders slipknot.

Compute the chances that the guy is who is going to strike you and kill you is going to be an illegal. That should tell you something or other.

It is amazing you are blaming an innocent person for their death instead of the reckless actions of an illegal immigrant who was driving illegally.
It tells you what percent of the population is illegal.
Other than the fact that the person who hit the this guy was an illegal, you would be right. The same could be said for the 14 dead in Tennessee so far this year as a result of illegal alien drivers......ignore the elephant in the room. He won't hurt you......
It's not like the family would get any money out of the guy.
I have to admit that was the first thing that crossed my mind also. They drive with no licenses, no insurance, and ignorance of our rules of the road, and half the time, if not more, they are DUI.
