If you dont know the differnce between trashing a vet and suggesting that being a vet is not sufficient reason to vote for them for president, than you are insane

Your words Dave, from post #422:

What battle did Hunter win? Did he lead the charge up Pork Chop Hill? Was he commander at Khe Sang when it was overrun by the North Vietnamese? Did he engineer the invasion of Normandy? Did he lead troops in the Pacific and in Korea?

Your utter lack of respect for not only Duncan Hunter, but for ALL combat vets is plain for all to see.

We don't need speakers to hear the sneer in your posts.

Shame on you.

Does this mean that I did wrong by voting for not supporting Kerry in 2004. After all, Kerry was a combat veteran. You can play with the words all you like but all I said is if you are going to use veteran as the reason to vote for your candidate he ought to have done more than operated a mess hall or kept the trucks running. Now I'm disparaging the people that did those jobs, but they are not a reason for someone being elected to the top job in the free world. But if you are going to make veteran your reason for why we should support Duncan Who, then you ought to provide a narrative of his experience and how it ties into his current decision making. You say he won a bronze star or something similar, why not explain what the heck he did and make a story out of it...rather than just say vet and make believe to yourself that that is sufficient reason to vote for Hunter. Heck, McCain is a vet and you said you wouldnt support him. Arent you being a hypocrite?
