Tax reduction. Attacking the War on Terror with vigor. And appointing judges who will uphold the constitution. These are the only things I am confident about and which are most important to me. But he will become clearer in the months ahead.
An example. Sam Brownback, i was listening to what he had to say. When i say nuckle head I mean politicians using hollow "12 point solutions" to answer questions from interviewers. I am sick and tired of not hearing a stright answer.
These GOP are getting mopped up in the media on the tough questions because they have B.S.ed their way through so many press conferences.
I was up late watching cspan and I caught someone answering questions. Tough questions like abu, defence contract corruption, and a couple of others i wasn't even aware of. This was an extremely hostile college campus and these questions were brutal. One by one these questions were answered and answered with direct yes no information. And when he was finished with the question the very liberal students were suprised and satisfied with what he had to say. This man had a six shoter of information and he was fast on the
draw. This man was Duncan Hunter
It was at the very end of the interview i found out he was running for presidnet. I am gonna give Duncan everything i have for the primary.
i am a very capable individual. When enough of us capable individuals team up we can make things happen. Ruts take a long time to form, but you can hop out pretty quick if you just do it.
You have never seen Guiliani answer questions in the way you can't stand. He is as straight a shooter as any politician I have ever seen and does not pull his punches. I became an admirer after watching him do the same thing which impressed you about Hunter.
It is important that Hunter or someone like him be a serious contender for the VP position next go around in order to position them for further campaigns for the top spot. Just because I do not think it possible NOW in no way means I don't like the guy or that he should just go away.
I am a prolife chirstian. I will back Romney over Guiliani any day of the week.
So am I, elder and deacon for decades. That is your prerogative. Romney appears to be an attractive, articulate candidate, a moderate conservative. I don't know a lot about him other than he is a do'er and seems to be a good man. We could certainly do worse. No doubt I would vote for him in a heartbeat over any RAT.
You're the one calling Hunter supporters fanatical and dangerous. Cite examples of my 'hate' or justshutupandtakeit.
"They have been in the media more because they are NEWSMAKERS. Most of the coverage while Guiliani was mayor was whining about the tough steps he took to rein the city in. People who are not NEWSMAKERS are not in the news"
Giuliani was mayor of NYC, so obviously he got plenty of coverage but his policies are too far left for the national level and becoming PRESIDENT. BTW, 'NEWSMAKERS' are made by the media. Duncan Hunter is more influential in Congress and with our armed forces so he's dealt with NATIONAL issues. Just because he hasn't been in the media all the time doesn't mean he hasn't played an influential part in our nation's defense and other important national issues.
"This does not always remain the case and name recognition has never been enough to win a nomination (at least in modern times). But the point is HOW they came to that name recognition in the first place. Some are like Obama who has done NOTHING but the RAT media feel in love with him. Some have done LOTS, like Guiliani or even Romney and McCain and the RAT media has a mixed view of them because certainly cannot be accused of being in love with them as it is with Obama and Hillary"
Well, lack of 'name recognition' and just because the media hasn't fawned over you because you're not one of those less than conservative Republicans, doesn't mean you don't deserve a chance and doesn't mean you are any less of a candidate.
"Don't lie about me or my actions. I am, in no way, "panicked" by Hunter though I find it amusing that you believed anyone not a True Believer takes him seriously enough to panic over him. What kind of baby would be panicked by a 1% following in the polls? As for getting out of line I suggest you clean up the acts of Hunter's followers here before criticizing others for lesser ones"
I don't need to 'lie' about you or your actions. Your actions by posting on these Hunter threads and the things you post do more than enough in showing why I believe there is some concern with you anti-Hunter people. Why do you waste your time on a worthless thread on Duncan Hunter if he's not worth the time?! Enough said.
I've learned of Duncan Hunter interviewed on TV and radio AFTER THE FACT. Where can I learn of his media schedule so I can actually see/hear the man? Any ideas?
No, his biggest problems are chicken sh*t, moderate/liberal, value-less republicans who run to the left as fast as they can whenever someone whispers the word "Clinton."
Rush is a free trade advocate and is a champion for capitalism. Did you know this?
Now, I know that those positions are correct ones because, in the end, the only alternative is central planning and a less free society. But, knowing this about Rush, what are your reactions to it.
Of course you are willing to support a pig in a poke but most voters must KNOW who they are asked to vote for and what he stands for.
Hunter has no name recognition and thus has no chance. Hillaryphobia has nothing to do with that.
The other HUGE problem he faces is that the electorate in NOT conservative and after the conservative disaster last election it won't be inclined to become one.
