I saw a report that he has been in the Senate for 34 years. What kind of decisions can we expect from people who have spent most of their lives in such a cloistered environment? We'd be better off handing the functions of the Senate to a monastery.

There is a hue and cry HERE for a resignation, but why aren't the Republicans in Congress holding press-conferences? The man SHOULD RESIGN, at least his leadership position. Trent Lott was forced into it, only because the (D)'s got together, very loudly misquoted Lott over and over until it hit the mainstream media, including Leno, Letterman, and the other one, and then the public began to believe that Trent Lott had suggested that all black men in America should be hanging from a tree! Why can't WE do that?
