If Muslims were not involved in terrorism, Hollywood would not use Muslim terrorists in stories. It just would not make any sense to the viewer. If Islam were truly a religion of peace, viewers would look at Muslim terrorists on TV and say "That just can't be".

...Hollywood didn't use Muslims as terrorists until recently when the "blonde, blue-eyed swede" no longer worked. Look at "Die-Hard" for example. All german terrorists. WTF!? Now, Indians and savages in commercials are middle-aged white guys. Can't use Indians or blacks. Look at the "Capitol One" ads.

When the Hollywood adaptation of Tom Clancy's The Sum of All Fears substituted miscellaneous East European Ultra-Nationalist terrorists for the Palestinian terrorists found in the book, the movie tanked in the theaters. It just didn't make any sense.
