There is absolutely no comparison between the nazis and the Japanese with regard to how they treated American soldiers as prisoners. The SS executed 80-90 Americans during the Bulge. That is the only incident I am aware of, although there had to have been others.

This in no way compares to the atrocities which happened in the Philippines with our surrendered solders. There can be no "Hogan's Hero's" in Japan because it didn't happen.
