Anyone else find it peculiar that the primary point of discussion in the media regarding the long awaited Windows Vista operating system is the sound it makes on boot-up? Macs interoperate seamlessly with a variety of proprietary hardware. Linux gives you the ability to greatly customize a system for a specific purpose and is extremely stable. Various flavors of BSD make excellent servers and internet traffic cops. Vista makes a nice sound.
