They do not score every vote, pal. They cherry pick votes as every rating system does. There is no complete picture except for every vote cast.

And yet you cannot provide examples of her being "fine on WOT agenda items . . . [b]ut on domestic policy, she's shaky as hell," apart from your unsubstantiated opinion. The ACU ratings, granted, are simply a tool . . . but one does not score 91 over time without being allowed a (rebuttable) presumption of being "Conservative."
You focus on methodology. Are there any Conservatives that should score higher but do not? Are there any Liberals that should score lower but do not? If so, what are your criteria? Are your criteria not vulnerable to the same accusation you yourself make?
Unless you can demonstrate some or all of the above, including providing some evidence of why you think Sen. Hutchison's rating is over-stated, then yes, you are blowing smoke.
