Education Dept have the highest overall GPA and the lowest overall IQ.

Engineering/Physics/Math/Chem Depts. have the lowest overall GPA and the highest IQ.

Hm?...Interesting and probably true.

In my major, there were only 3 people graduating with honors ( none were magna or summa). ( I was one of the three). Yet, more than a third of the non-sciences graduated with honors. The courses needed for engineering, chemistry, physics, and math are very intensive and very demanding, and the grades are lower.

Actually, I believe that all government teachers should be required to take and pass Calculus. Do they need calculus for their job? No, most don't. BUT,,,It would weed out those teachers too stupid to be standing in front of a classroom of children.

I was a general science major. It consisted of chemistry major's general and organic chem, physics major's physics, all levels of calculus and differential equations, biology major's biology, molecular biology, biochemistry,,and the rest were science major's course of our choice.

If I had not been accepted to my professional school, I would have taken the courses to be an engineer.

I have been told that you need at least a 120 IQ to learn calculus. I don't think most teachers would pass.

I agree with you about the technical courses. My son finished at Ga. Tech and if you had a 3.0 you were in the top 10% of the class.
