...was presented to him by an Australian Army Brigade he had visited before coming to our 1st Cav Base Camp in South Vietnam's Central Highlands. He was being briefed on the war all over the country about what we were doing there and how it affected war refugees.
All this before Sen. TED KENNEDY went a "bit" off the Deep End.
Having already shaken hands with his brother JFK on the day he accepted his Party's Nomination for President in 1960 ...meeting his youngest brother so soon after JFK's Assassination was a big deal to me then.
Sen. TED KENNEDY's misbehaviors since have changed everything for everybody, including those who don't know it yet.
