I don't think the guy got a green card, but he's getting something he wants much more than that - $5 million US taxpayer dollars from the civil-rights lawsuit he's launched against the US over this incident. Remember - if slimy Sutton hadn't given him immunity, the doper wouldn't even have come to the US - he ran off with a bullet in his butt to Mexico and refused to even come back to the US unless he were given scotfree immunity. That immunity he got, courtesy of Sutton who was desperate to give it if he could put away the two border patrol men, lets this million-dollar cartel doper sue the US government scot-free and take the $5 million US taxpayer dollars and buy new drugs to peddle here this country, as well as fancier transport equipment, bribe fees, tunnel construction, advanced weaponry and powerful lawyers. This Mexican cartel thug's about to be capitalized in his trade courtesy of slimy Sutton the overzealous prosecutor of very little judgment. The facts of the story are here:

As I understand it, under Sutton's watch, there were 14 previous shootings by BP agents. 4 resulted in deaths. In all 14 cases, the agents were able to present themselves as acting properly. In this last case, they weren't.
