From the start I (like most) thought the horse was a goner.

I'm surprised it survived this long.

I recall Mike's critical comments regarding bullfighting, and how they make the bull suffer a slow death in the ring. He also said that he couldn't stand the sight of a frog being dissected, and that's what kept him from going into medicine.

He certainly has sympathy for animals, but I must say I didn't actually hear him belittle the horse itself.

Those are some of the sentiments that made me like Mike very much. He has a real kind and good heart for animals.

He did not belittle the horse, for God's sake. But he belittled everything and everybody who was around this horse over the past eight months. It was just his lowest moment.

I pray that his people see this discussion here at FR, and that he comes on this evening and tries to set things straight and make things right. But, he most likely will not.

I know that he loves animals, but it certainly came off really poorly yesterday.

****

And let me add this ....... if you are going to come across like a cynical, callous goon like you did yesterday, I say, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT, Mr. Savage!!!
