Although it get very little media play from the left or the right there is a considerable annual legal immigration from Mexico of nearly 100,000 per year. Don't get too alarmed though, the foreign born percentage of the US population, including illegals, has remained constant at approximately 15% since the early 1700's.

For starters, our population growth has exploded since those times, especially in the past twenty-plus years. One-hundred thousand legal immigrants from Mexico per year, you say? Even that's too damn many, let alone the total number of legal immigrants that are allowed into the country every year. This 15% of the population you speak of, must be a US Census Bureau figure (or other governmental organization). Somehow I doubt that's the true number/percentage.

From Wikipedia; In 2001, Fonda publicly announced that she had become a Christian. She considers herself a Biblical Christian[citation needed] and strongly opposes bigotry, discrimination, and dogma, which she believes are promoted by a small minority of Christians.

Her announcement came shortly after her divorce from Ted Turner. Fonda stated publicly on Charlie Rose in April 2006 that her Christianity may have played a part in the divorce as Turner had allegedly criticized religion.
