NewsMax: Have politics played a part in this case?
Darryl Sharratt: We have a constitutional amendment that separates church and state, but we need one that separates state and military. The Marine Corps is the smallest of the services and where do they get their next Harrier Jump Jet from who gives them the money to buy that jet? It's a U.S. congressman named Murtha who is sitting on the Appropriations Committee as chairman of the House Appropriations Defense subcommittee.
So you've got Murtha who calls your Marines killers. Although every [Marine] would like to step up and put this man down, he's the one who feeds them. Are you going to bite the hand that feeds you? They may say it's not political, but there's your first step in the political process you have to go to this man to get your next M-16 rifle.
Let justice be served. These men deserve medals, not prosecution!
Among the last gasps of the Clinton administration were the presidential pardons he extended to Puerto Rican terrorists, gangland figures, and other criminals.
I'm praying that President Bush will have the presence of mind and the backbone to extend a presidential pardon to these marines, BEFORE their families go broke, or at least before they face a firing squad.
As a Christian, I cannot comment on Rep. Murtha without sinning. In fact, I can't even THINK about him without sinning.

PING!

The media has quoted, over and over, the autopsy verdict of Dr. al Obaidi. In a June 2006 AP piece, the doctor said of the Haditha victims: most of the casualities from the medical point of view were, bullet shots in the head and chest and one of the bodies was completely charred.
Heres what the media didnt tell you about the good doctor.
In the weeks preceding November 19, 2005, the day of the Haditha incident, the Marines of Kilo Company were repeatedly briefed about insurgent ambush tactics that had cost the lives of Marines, including one shocking ambush in the Haditha hospital. Seven Marines from a reconnaissance unit where shot and killed by insurgents posing as patients with concealed AK-47s under their bed covers.
Get the picture? AK-47s in hospital beds. Terrorists lying in wait to ambush Marines. Whose side is the hospital staff likely to be on, I wonder?
Hmmmm. Can medical examiners from the US exhume and examine the bodies?
Not going to happen. "Families" (whatever that means) won't allow it. We have to take Dr. Waleed Abdul Khaliq al Obaidi's word instead of the results of an independent autopsy. Thats good enough for the MSM, but will it be good enough for General Mattis?
The video "evidence" is the heart of the Haditha case. It was the proof that Congressman Murtha offered on CNN that a massacre had taken place.
Time magazine originally presented the video as a product of Thaer Thabit al-Hadithi, a budding journalist student who was also a member of the Hammurabi Organization for Human Rights and Democracy Monitoring group (an organization, it was reported, with ties to Human Rights Watch).
These were absolutely false claims by Time (which Sweetness & Light led the way in exposing.
Thaer Thabit al-Hadithi is 43-years-old and is one of only two members in the Hammurabi Organization (the other member is Abdul Rahman al-Mashhadani). The organization has no ties to Human Rights Watch.
Why did this "organization" sit on the video tape for four months? Is it authentic? Who are the video producers anyway?
In a Reuters report:
A lawyer for one of the Marines under investigation, who also declined to be identified, said that Hammurabi was not a known or registered human rights organization and had no track record of reporting any other abuses.
"And it turns out these two employees have family members spending time in local prisons for insurgent activity," the attorney said. "I think the origins of the tape would have been better suited if it came from somebody who really did have altruistic motives in their heart."
Abdul Rahman al-Mashhadani, director of Hammurabi Human Rights and Democracy Monitoring, declined to answer questions from Reuters about the organization.
"We dont answer such questions that we consider as intelligence and information gathering," he said. "They (Reuters) should have monitored the media so that they can get a good image of us."

The NCIS relies upon the enemy for its information.
All rightie then, we have a mix-up in who is on which side of the bars.
Time for a do si do, Mr. President.
