of Newcastle Investment Corporation, a subsidiary of Fortress Investment
Group LLC, a $15 billlion hedge fund."
"In another quirky development, on October 17, 2005 Fortress made
the following announcement: "Former Senator John Edwards has joined
Fortress Investment Group LLC as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Edwards will
provide support in developing investment opportunities worldwide and
strategic advice on global economic issues."
