It's hard to draw a surfer's attention away from the next wave, but whatever was in the northwest sky Friday evening around 6:20 p.m. drew a crowd along Kewalo Basin and Ala Moana Beach Park.
Honolulu resident Peter Hollingworth described as two lights circling in the sky, about 45 degrees above the horizon.
Video of one of the lights was recorded from the Channel 2 SkyCam.
“These two little fireballs with a stream behind it,” said Hollingworth. “Looked kind of like a shooting start but it just kept going. They changed directions a few times, at first it was coming in then it turned, then it went out then it came back in again"
Hollingworth was surfing with his 12 year old son when the unexpected show began.
“I was a little concerned. I told him come over and sit with me - this might be the last surf session we ever have together because this thing's coming straight for Honolulu. It looked deadly to me it was kind of spooky.”
So what was it?
The National Weather Service says nothing showed up on their radar at the time of the sighting and the Federal Aviation Administration didn't report anything unusual.
The U.S. military conducted a missile defense test off of Kauai Friday evening but the test didn't begin until 7:20 p.m.
“This in a sense is an unidentified flying object,” said University of Hawaii astronomy professor Gareth Wynn-Williams. “It's something in the sky that's moving that we haven't identified.”
Wynn-Williams believes there's a simple explanation behind the UFO’s.
“It's probably a contrail of some kind,” he said while watching video of one of the lights at his Kailua home.
The professor says contrails are caused by high flying airplanes burning hydrogen based fuels. One of the byproducts of the fuel exhaust is water.
“The air is very cold so the water condenses and forms like drops very quickly and then these drops stay behind the plane until eventually they warm up and they evaporate.”
Wynn-Williams doubts little green men from Mars are behind the UFO’s.
“Some people just think differently than scientists and they like to look for the fanciest most exciting explanation. Those people would like to think it's little green men, I think that's very unlikely."
According to published reports this is not the first time a UFO has grabbed the attention of Hawaii residents.
In December of 2004 an unexplained streak of light was captured by a camera on Haleakala moving southwest to northeast. No official explanation has been given for that UFO either.

I have just finished watching the entire 4hr 39min 55 sec. video, by Bill Cooper, Feb. 1991.
How dare anyone call this video a waste of time! You don't have time to waste to not gather the information provided in this video. You can't afford not to see it.
If anything is a waste of time it is everyone across the globe that would willingly allow these things to continue and to happen.
This has got to be the best video I have seen... ever. This video ranks above Aaron Russo's: America, Freedom to Fascism, because this video actually encompasses the "Freedom to Fascism" idea...
The big shocker that came to me, and forced me to watch the video (after going back to the beginning) was discussing and showing proof that President Kennedy was assassinated by his driver... THE SECRET SERVICE!!! As Jackie K. was trying to get out of the car, her bodyguard (Secret Service) pushed her back in. There's proof in this video.
Through this video, Bill Cooper, provides definitive information about how the Illuminati are working to bring the New World Order upon us. Documentation proves this to be in the works since... forever.

Bill discusses UFO's... how it is in fact a tactic by our government(s) to get us to willingly give up our sovereignty, rights, freedoms, liberties... everything... to make way to unite every nation, globally, under one government.
Bill discusses how the Illuminati have headed think tanks that would solve the world population problem. They (the Illuminati and those associated) have created the "Group of Rome", of which has determined there are only 2 solutions to stop global overpopulation. The two solutions they had (have) are:
1) Birth rate solution - find ways to "slow" the global birth rate. In the video it wasn't discussed exactly what those way "could" have been, but just looking at our world today, I imagine can imagine birth control pills, vasectomies, abortions, abstinence, etc.
2) Death rate solution - find ways to "speed" the global death rate as quickly as "humanely" possible. The most obvious way under this solution is war. Other ways discussed are the cashless societies (no money - no food, home, etc) and such as famine and pestilence, which goes hand in hand with the cashless society.
It was discussed about how 3rd world countries have already pledged their "natural resources" as a means to repay their debts to the world banks, in order to meet the needs of the New World Order.
A 3rd and less discussed solution (Illuminati were hoping the 1st two would work, then the 3rd wouldn't be needed) was colonizing outer space, and there is documented proof of colonizing the moon as of the mid to late 60's. Photos were shown of "buildings" and excavations on the moon, that NASA mistakenly published in a book (I can't remember the book, I'll have to watch the video again). There's even photos of terraced landscapes on Mars, for Christ's sake.
Bill noted a couple Bills that were passed through the 100th Congress (I'll have to watch the video again) that legalized slave labor, declaring Martial Law, and a few other odds n ends. However, Bill did mention, as I completely agree with... The only reason they haven't been able to achieve this *yet*, is because the American people still have the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.
Bill, God rest his soul, hit the nail right on the head. The fault of what is happening to us all today, is our own fault. "We" created this(ese) government(s), and we have allowed them to run around with more freedom then we have. They, the elected government bodies, work for us. We do not work for them. Americans have become so relaxed at letting the government do what they want, and not check on their work, that the government has easily sent us down the road to doom.
I believe one of the final notes Bill made, was that the New World Order will become finalized when the strife in the middle east ceases.
I agree with this video, 100%, and it is very disturbing to me. I hope everyone takes time out of their day to view this video, and then do something to take a stand, before it is too late.

Well, ok. But you're not giving up your present life and moving to the wilderness, like he is. I find that amazing.
Had I the means, I'd set up some survival centers in several different mountain ranges not that far away.
But I expect to be in some Asian population centers when whatever dreadful occurs--unless God has other plans and insures I'm elsewhere.
I guess I'd rather go down doing good than hiding out.
On the other hand, those hiding out in order to be alive to do good certainly have my understanding and blessing.
But they'd best be cautioius . . . God has made clear it will be the meek inheriting the earth . . . not the violently aggressive.

Shostak doesn't even qualify as a physicist. Google MATTER WAVES, one of the 2 foundation stones of Quantum Mechanics. They were postulated by Louis DeBroglie circa 1922, discovered by Davisson and Germer at the Bell Labs in 1926. Half of your physical existence is as WAVES, MATTER WAVES.
The "marriage" equation of relativity/QM is E=mc^2=hw where w is DeBroglie's Wave number. No, matter waves are FERMION waves(electrons, protons, neutrons), not BOSE photons and electromagnetic waves. Don't get confused.
DeBroglie's equation for matter wavelength is h/mv which means far, far shorter than visible wavelengths(4000 to 7700 angstroms). His equation for the speed of a matter wave crest is U = c^2/v. But is c^2 a mass-area or momentum-line? As area that involves the wave galaxy at the 1/3 fermi radius, as line it means travel at 1 light year per 105 seconds(9 x 10^16 km/sec), at v=0(frozen internally).
This blew relativists minds(greater than c velocity)so they made up the group/phase cover story to cover their behinds, and consigned DeBroglie to the crazy aunt alice category. Thus you won't get this ersatz physicist shostak or others like him to discuss MATTER WAVES unless it's thru clenched teeth and with a gun held to their head.
There's your UFO answer then : MATTER WAVES, look it up if you actually WANT to know how they work....
The only logical conclusion I've drawn so far is . . .
1. The dying man was very closely known by at least several key members of the group.
2. The dying man was extremely highly respected and extremely highly trusted.
3. The dying man was known by the key members of the group to have been in job or relationship positions sufficiently connected to know of what he spoke very well and emphatically.
4. Given 1-3 above, are the only logical reasons I can imagine individuals of the education, training, experience and solidness described to plan and execute such a survivalist plan to such lengths.
One could imagine one individual in such a group being an emotional flake. But not the whole group. They HAD to be told some VERY CONVINCING STUFF from SOMEONE they LITERALLY TRUSTED THEIR LIVES WITH.
That's challenging to explain except as they outlined it.

I think the little group is 100% convinced it's real and that they base their life altering conclusions on some very solid source and reasoning.
There is this other little bit from Coast to Coast a week or so ago . . .
a scientist . . . I forget his name . . . . spokesperson for a group of cross disciplinary scientists . . . insists that there's a what . . . an extension of the black hole at the center of our galaxy . . .
something like a gravity wave or some such area . . . anomaly or some such . . . I forget his term . . . anyway . . . that on a particular, predictable cycle, the solar system--including, of course, the earth, passes through this area at the same time we pass through the galactic plain . . .
And, that this sets of great techtonic plate shifts; the 10 mile buldge at the center of the equater snaps back to a sphere--putting that region under the oceans; massive solar flares scorch the earth devastatingly; massive super winds blow over normally immoveable objects; a huge percentage of the atmosphere is blown away; ALL COASTAL AREAS ARE OBLITERATED of all hint of civilization in more or less a flash . . .
all about the same time frame . . . supposedly between 2008 and 2020 it's scheduled. And that there's nothing anyone can do about it except maybe to burrow in, in some mid-range mountains--not too high where the atmosphere is blown away . . . not too low to be awash in the sloshing oceans.;
