"John Negroponte, said the old view was that Iran does not want a civil war in Iraq. But he said this assessment was changing."

OH GOOD GRAVY! How dumb are these people?????

""One has to wonder why it is that they have increased their supply of these kinds of lethal weapons to extremist Shia groups in Iraq, provoking violence, attacks on coalition forces, and others. And one wonders if their policy towards Iraq may not have shifted to a more aggressive posture than it has been in the past,""

Not something I've "WONDERED" at all!!

Don't you just want to SCREAM!??!

There used to be a joke that went something like this:
President Reagan asked the intelligence agencies for their assessment of communist infiltration in the US. The State Department replied that they were not sure that there were actual communists anywhere much less in the US. The CIA stated that there were communists but probably it would be years before they could infiltrate the US. The FBI stated that communists had infiltrated the US government but that the FBI had caught them all. The DIA replied that there were communists and they had taken over the State Department and CIA. Night all.
