I usually try to stay away from trouble, but DC is too far for me. If it were closer to home I may have attended and kept a low profile.

Kudos to those who attended.

fyi, my "duckie" said it was always hard to get DECENT people to come out to counter-demonstrate for at least these reasons:

1. they have JOBS,

2. they have FAMILIES,

3.they don't LIKE demonstrators &

4. the CREEPS, TRAITORS & GARBAGE like sean penn, susan sarandon & the TRAITOR-*ITCH fonda make them GAG.

even though i've been known to go to a FReep with the HEROES/HEROINES of the DC chapter, i always feel like i need a hot, soapy bath afterward from just being that close to that LEFTIST FILTH & GARBAGE!

Low profile? We're conservatives. On the premit maps, we're marked, "No Tear Gas Zones" because we don't cause problems we don't vandelize property like the left wing wackos.

It's only the left for whom "Protest = Arrest" because that's the way they want it. They will provoke and provoke and provoke until arrested, or the Democrat leadership gives them permission to break stuff. The left wing sense of self is so self loathing that they have to been seen doing good, so that why they craave being arrested. Some sick sense of visibility for their own ego gratification.

>>I usually try to stay away from trouble<<

What a sad shame. You have no idea what you're missing. The worst you'll see is hippies swearing at you. Those of us who alumni know the police love us and stick close by to keep an eye on the bad guys. When the dust settles the police wink at us, give us thumbs up, and generally let us know how they appreciate us being there.

I'm an old grandma now, and I've never felt threatened at a rally. NEVER. All I know is that we can't sit by and let those communists get attention any longer. Back in the '60's I saw how they almost destroyed America and if I have anything to do with it, they won't go unchallenged ever again!

Kristinn, I'm in TX but if I had transportation and housing out there I'd be there in a New York minute! You guys are my all time heroes.
