I had other things to do that day.
And I should have been down there with you.
"I had other things to do that day."
That's the problem, Dirtboy. Those that claim to stand with the troops and America's best interests put more importance in the "other things". But what is more important than standing up for the troops, the country, and freedom? Certainly not laundry, a movie (even with a hot date), or a latte. The anti-war, anti-Americans find their agenda so important that everything gets put aside for one day, or a few hours, every week. Saturday's march was an event, whereas they stage rallies in cities across the country EVERY week! I, like Kristinn and his stalwart band of supporters, counter the Lefties EVERY week! We have done so for years, and we have other things too. Our numbers have dwindled, but our spirit remains committed to the purpose we pledged to.
You can go to Walter Reed or Olney and participate. Or start your own rally. It is not too late. And when the Lefties march again, and they will, put the "other things" aside.
No. I do not let the enemy choose the terms of the battle. Marches are Soooo 1960's.
They are the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gunfight. Or bringing a "march" to an internet fight. They are irrelevent.
