Your questions are damned good ones. I would suggest to you that most conservatives are lazy and timid. There are many excuses, and I've hard most of them. In individual cases, they can be valid excuses. But overall, that's the explanation you're looking for: Laziness and timidity. Two things the left certainly is not guilty of.
If this doesn't change, we will lose our country.

Do you know Joshua Sparling? Do you know any of the other soldiers that came out? You don't, because if you did, you would know they make their own decisions!!!
Many of the troops asked me about the rally. They already knew about it...they were already planning to attend. They didn't even know at the time we would be there.
It is STILL somewhat of a FREE country and Kristinn cannot tell an active duty troop where he can and can not go!!!

My whole life I have been confounded by those who say they believe something & yet do nothing to support it. Offer a lot of advice beforehand & criticism afterward but LITTLE ACTION WHEN IT COUNTS. I note many who are good at the keyboard & think it is activism.. I suppose it is compared to a slug..
I mostly experience this at church but also in organizations & political arenas.
You guys are great. Keep the faith, when you do the right thing, even if you stand alone, you are worthy. Those who disappointed you with their ambivalence need to answer to their conscience. I have been so proud to be with you for the various causes the past couple years. More money & more proximity & I would be with you every time.

Their "little hissy fits" have a real impact on society. If they're not answered, stupid people -- and that's a lot of people -- think that's where most of the country is. The liberal Rats gain more confidence and get even bolder and louder. And we don't get the kind of practice we need. Positive rallies for the troops are great, but, like most easy things, they aren't enough. We need to do the hard stuff too, like counterdemonstrate against the traitorous Rats.

The idea that the leftists are just ruining their political impact is nonsense. They damned near elected a lousy candidate, Kerry, in much better political circumstances (for us) than exist now. They look bad to us, not necessarily to the Sheeple. If they're not answered and attacked, effectly, they look increasingly normal to the Sheeple, and therefore acceptable and to be taken seriously.

He was going jive nuts on us down at the other end before he got to Josh.
1. The First Amendment doesn't allowing for sedition, treason, etc.
2. You better "give a damn about their little hissy fits". We all better, because the cost is too great not to. One Vietnam was one too many. These people advocate the overthrow of our government by removing GW, and the undermining of America period.
3. Better turnout for the troops and flag? Hardly. I'm down to myself and another person. Kristinn, the author of this piece, is fairing far better. However, when was the last time you saw THOUSANDS of people stand up for this country and its' defenders? I'd love to see that and be a part of it. Let me know when it is scheduled.
