First Amendment rights

The First Amendment does not encompass vandalism.

(Or does it? SCOTUS can get screwy sometimes.)

In their defense, they simply treated the Capitol steps with the same treatment Pres Clinton's staff treated the White House upon their departure. /sarcasm off

I fairly certain that would NOT include vandalism if you were doing it - or any other conservative.

If we ever reach the sad point where vandalism becomes a First Amendment right, I intend on beating up the next person I see burning an American flag.

After all, I'll only be exercising my First Amendment rights too.
