Yes I am a Rudy opponent - for the presidency at least. I like the man and admire his scitellating leadership in the aftermath of the Hell on earth that was 9/11. That said, the primaries are just a year away and this is what primary season is about. Calling Rudy pro-choice and anti-gun, and reminding people of the brutal reality of abortion - legal or otherwise - is hardly trashing the man. It is a reminder rather of painful facts. And I do not think Rudy will win the primary if he even decides to run.
No I have no intentions of moving. This is our home too. We live in the most beautiful place in the world IMO, and I'll not give the Lenin-worshipping socialists (there's a statue of Lenin in our largest city) the satisfaction of living in their little utopia without me as a thorn in their side :-)
Lastly, it's specious to expect one family to change an entire state.
Well Rudy has a lot of support. He is NOT a social conservative - but I don't see any evidence that social conservatives have furthered the cause.
I find it amusing that so many people feel the need to bash and trash instead of supporting what they do like.
I am one who believes that it is more powerful to be for something than against something.
