Giuliani Is Cautious (indecisive?) as He Weighs ’08 Decision

Rudolph W. Giuliani, who developed a national reputation for decisive and reassuring leadership after 9/11, now faces the odd challenge of having to reassure some supporters that he can be decisive about a very different issue: running for president. Even as his fellow Republican John McCain and fellow New Yorker Hillary Rodham Clinton have all but formally declared their candidacies, Mr. Giuliani has proceeded more cautiously.

Yeah, there are some pretty nasty, sick people on FR. And they hate anyone who doesn't agree with them 100%
It is really sad. But as Howlin pointed out - imagine what it must be like to have to live with them!!!

You are learning Grasshopper, there is much more to come, LOL! Let logic, common sense and good humor be your guide and you shall over come this adversity!

I am tired of men who can only think with the appendage (or the orifice) at the lower end of the spinal column (if they have a spine).
It is time for MEN to stand up and smash Tim Russert and his ilk in the face on national television. All these daggers among smiles and polite, effeminate conversationalists are not going to win this war.

Thanks for taking up for me and the compliment!

Good night, you are a bunch of very smart people. Yeah, and I hope at the end of the primaries (ok, the convention), we can all just back whomever the R candidate is, regardless.

Definitely NJ and some of the others you mentioned. Also think of the money the DIMS will need to spend in CA and NY because they will all be in play. Sadly we will probably lose RI and MA, but I can live with that, LOL!

And we know what a great job he did at getting Bush to appoint his mobbed up, high school dropout, corrupt business partner Bernie Kerik to head the Department of Homeland Security. Giuliani earlier appointed Kerik to head the New York Police Department And we know how that all worked out. Kerik narrowly avoided jail, but he was convicted anyway. He also, in a quid pro quo for the New York Liberal Party's endorsement and support, appointed Liberal Party Chairwoman Fran Reiter as Deputy Mayor. He also appointed Russell Harding, the son of Giuliani's close friend Raymond Harding who also chaired the Liberal Party and was one of Giuliani's closest campaign advisers, to be the City Housing Director. Russell Harding had to leave office upon being arrested by federal law enforcement and charged with conspiracy, fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, receiving child pornography, and possesing child pornography. He was using his official credit card to pay for personal items including a car, 'Sopranos' DVDs, and a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. He later pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 5 years in prison and forced to repay $367,000 he embezzled from the New York City.
Yes, Rudy Giuliani has a sterling record when it comes to appointing people to positions in his administration.
The Rudy-Rooters seem to want sweep this one under the rug and ignore it. Just thought I'd ping you all to this new information I've posted so that you can appropriately archive it and do some of your own similar digging. I assure you that there's much more just like this that can keep liberal Rudy away from the nomination. We just need to find it and distribute it widely. The Rudy myths must be disspelled and the truth must be told.

Thay can't forward me the reports. Sorry. Do the mods talk to non-mods about other Freepers as FA says? You are welcome to post my history of reporting as this person is lying.

Yeah, there are some pretty nasty, sick people on FR. You seem to think sick and nasty perversions and bloodlust for baby killing is just fine.
I do not.

I agree with you 100%. I just want us all to be on good terms with each other by the time we get there. I don't mind the arguing and the good natured kidding but some of these personal attacks are way over the line.

I'm sorry but Texas isn't going to vote for Hillary Clinton! Neither is any southern state.
The only way she could win them is against a liberal Republican like Rudy. And don't write off her chances to pick up a few of those southern states if she's running against a well-known gungrabber like Rudy.
Guns trump abortion. The gun vote is more monolithic than the pro-family vote.
Your list of Rudy states isn't worth discussing. No reason to believe he could win more than a few of the smaller ones like WI and MN.
States like NY and NJ have very strong Dim political machines and operate on patronage and party discipline, relying on 70% Dim registration. Rudy will not win those against Hillary.

So how do you feel you are doing so far in preventing abortion and cracking down on the evil homosexuals? :-)

You are a liar.
Are you saying the mods talk with other Freepers about what goes on in moderating.
In all the years I have been here I have hit the abuse button maybe once a year. And NEVER for anything as silly as yours which was you were losing an argument.
I have asked the mods to post my history in 300 since you claim I? have posted for far les. And I almost never hit abuse.
You lie.

If I had to, I'd vote for Rudy against the Richardson/Clinton ticket. We'd get slaughtered, but I have lived in blue states all my life, I am used to it.
I'd prefer a reagan style candidate, though.
