Giuliani Is Cautious (indecisive?) as He Weighs ’08 Decision
NY Times ^ | SAM ROBERTS

Posted on 01/27/2007 2:26:06 PM PST by narses

Rudolph W. Giuliani, who developed a national reputation for decisive and reassuring leadership after 9/11, now faces the odd challenge of having to reassure some supporters that he can be decisive about a very different issue: running for president. Even as his fellow Republican John McCain and fellow New Yorker Hillary Rodham Clinton have all but formally declared their candidacies, Mr. Giuliani has proceeded more cautiously.

Then the GOP would be even more attractive to moderates...

Limbaugh says moderates are liberals. I agree.

And on the other hand, we can't be teaching children to hate gays and to discriminate against them.

The druggies, like the sex perverts, can only perpetuate an ever increasing market for their filth by molesting the minds and bodies of the young ones.

Keep that filth away from my children. I have taught all eight of mine you are filth.

Rudy was divoriced once. Annulled once.

And a serial adulterer. He even publically lied about his adultery, although not under oath like Clinton. If this was the Democrat candidate, we'd be all over him on the adultery issue. But because the liberal has an R after his name, too many here can't avoid taking a hypocritical stand on the issue. It's bad for Dems to do it, but OK for Republicans. Is that it?

"They shouldn't even know what gay is!"

I'm sorry but the reality of the world is that there are gay people. You can't hide it from children. Otherwise, they aren't going to know how to respond when they do get out in the world on their own and stumble upon it.

You'll recall when i pointed out your spelling error upthread the way i did it, with a friendly freepmail (which you are free to post here if you'd like) and a self-deprecating statement) I'm sure.

Oh well, when you are losing, go after a typo. i gues that's all the meat some folks have. Ok, well that and a perfect set of hips.

See now I am asking it.

smile - I think that those who say that abortion is THE issue or at the top somewhere - ought to answer the question - as to how the movement is doing. I am disappointed that no one will discuss it. It makes me wonder how sincere they are
