Tens of thousands?...................Nope, "Tenths of Thousand".
Actress and anti-war advocate Jane Fonda, right, listens as Eve Ensler addresses a crowd of protesters at the U.S. Navy Memorial as they participate in a women's peace rally to voice their opposition to the war in Iraq, Saturday Jan. 27, 2007 in Washington. (AP Photo/Chris Greenberg)

looks like "tens of hundreds" to me
thought they were expecting at least 100,000???
Mnay times this number gathered fgor pro-life last week, and did we see any reporting of that demonstration?
tens of thousands.....
I'm going to have to get a bumper sticker with that on it.
If the guys in the foreground is the back of the rally .. THEY BARELY HAVE 1000 (if that many - my row count puts it at about 600+) - LET ALONE TEN'S OF THOUSANDS.
As usual .. the WP is carrying the water for the dems because it fits the WP agenda.
WHERE are the American flags???
didn't Jane Fonda show up somewhere. I recall hearing she was going to attend some protest.
A couple of thou tops.
There, fixed it.

"John Conyers said that Bush is the commander in chief of the military, not the commander in chief of the American people. He works for us, the people, through our representatives," Restino said. "There is legislation being introduced right now to get our troops out of Iraq," he added. "The Bush people say there is no plan, but there is. I urge everyone back home to get on the phone and demand their representative sign on to H.R. 508."
I know!
All the photos I saw looked to be maybe one thousand at the most. Does anyone have any aerial shots of the march?
What a perfect opportunity to call in a CBU airstrike.
Weak turn-out.
The don't let them get as close ot the Capitol as they used to either.... they used to set up the platform right in front of the reflecting pool by the Grant statute. Now they're back at mid-mall, by the merry-go-round and the arts and industries building.
