Just interested. Did either one of these people ever serve America? If not, they are only an embarrassment.
I saw that on the news tonight. (I'm in Norway right now with my fiance's family).
My future father-in-law was like, it's terrible, no one wants the US in iraq, not even citizens.
He's a very nice man, a very good man, and quite honestly, if he was in America he'd be considered a conservative. So I didn't say it in a mean way...I just said,
"Yeah, the news here is as bad as it is back home. They don't show you the protests with just as many people against things like abortion, or supporting the troops being in Iraq. They only show the things they want you to see."
It's horrible how one-sided it is here. People are being manipulated by the media. If we lose in Iraq, it won't be because of the military, or because of Bush. It'll be because of how people are being deceived into discouragement.
Funny how the BSM floats the numbers they want. Nearly ten years ago now I was at "Stand in the Gap", a gathering of nearly a million Christian men on the national mall. The only coverage it got showed 3 black-clad pagans who showed up in opposition.

If the guys in the foreground is the back of the rally .. THEY BARELY HAVE 1000 (if that many - my row count puts it at about 600+) - LET ALONE TEN'S OF THOUSANDS.

Then like lemmings the mindless little nitwits turn out to chant their jingoistic claptrap, which is substituted for true analysis of what our nation faces.Feeling good and fulfilled, many with some quick scores of D.C. cocaine,and/or a quick piece of tail, they wend their way home feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, without a clue as to what they have actually done to our soldiers in Iraq.
I think they should round them all up and send them to Iraq, and let them walk the line there for one single day.
Ha ha funny you should mention it...a beautiful young lady on our side today was wearing a saddam mask and holding a sign which read "I'm dead and liberal chicks still love me!"

This verbage was obviously taken right of a press release.
I was there and met Josh personally. Had lunch with him too. He is truly a great American. It was great to see the lefties try to tell him that if he loves the country he should enlist. Duh!!
There was a good crowd, but when they marched, they kept walking in a circle back and forth along the route. From the Free Republic staging area, I spotted some people making more than one pass by us. Some of those folks you just can't forget. So that's how they get the press to inflate their numbers.
