I'm running into alleged Conservatives bragging about putting Democrats in power because they didn't take a "pledge"? For some reason this is humorous to them or a game but this is far from a game and this is a very serious matter.
They're not really like us, Paige; they're here simply to disrupt.
RINOs bawling like the left. Who would have thunk. You only have power if you have the guts to use it. The GOP has no guts.
Democrats : "You F'd Up, you trusted us!!"
No, the main problem with the gutless is that they continuously refer to the nasties as "our friends from across the aisle". The nasties are not the gutless' friends but their ENEMIES.
I find the gutless more despicable than the nasties - at least the nasties do what they're trained to do: shit on the gutless.
D-rats = Lucy with football
Same result every time!
Agreed, again. And I'd still slap them.
You don't know about the Pledge and you accuse me of ignorance? Try keeping up. Here are the ones I could quickly find.
Sign the Pledge! No Support for Republicans who vote with Democrats against Iraq Mission
Has Everyone Signed The PLedge (Vanity)
Take The Pledge: How Victory Trumps Party
Please sign the NRSC Pledge
Take The Pledge
Take The Pledge
The pledge, the fight, the poll and the pessimist
The Pledge
Do you know since you seem to be one of the ones that stayed home since you did not take "the pledge."
A) I didn't stay home, it's the Pledge People who seem to be intent on it. You might reserve your ire for them.
B) Try writing English. That "sentence" isn't.
"No, we're blaming YOU all who didn't support the GOP and turned this country over to this pack of socialist liars."
No, I'm blaming you personally Howlin for supporting country club RINOS who have split the party. The conservatives I know all voted. It's just that the big spender Repubs like the president gave the middle of America nothing to vote for.
What you are really telling us is the president is so weak in his conservative beliefs that he has to find scapegoats for his inability to convince anyone to vote Republican.
The buck stops at the president's desk, deal with it.
President Bush is not running in 2008, in case you haven't noticed.
And the people who split this party are the same fools that blackmail the GOP with their vote election after election.
Hopefully the GOP got the hint this time and will leave them behind.
Too little too late. The GOP leadership should have gotten a clue in 2004 when they started ignoring the base and abandoning the President, allowing the Democrats to threaten the filibuster of judicial nominees, all which in turn ticked off the base and shut off the donations to the GOP coffers, and the GOP chair wonders why they didn't have a groundswell of grassroots supporters in 2006. The "morale" tank was down to zero.
It is a serious matter when there are lives at stake.
That's what you get for abandoning conservative principles... now go find some candidates with CONSERVATIVE backbone and maybe you and your crew could regain the keys to the executive suite.
