"I think closeness to God comes when we feed the spirit and deny the flesh. I feel closer to God when I do this anyway. I may be wrong, but I think the clergy should preach this and practice it."

It's quite a different feeling for a 22-year-old loser who has never had it.

I would say that he is stricken with a problem. And who knows, this may be a problem deliberately given to him by God. God does not give a person more then they can handle. Maybe, this was his test by God. Like I said, I don't know. And the clergy don't know this either. If this was God's test, I would rather be in the ex-virgin's shoes then the clergy's shoes.

I don't know. I do know this: the clergy is in the business of building strength in souls. Offering the flesh rather then the spirit is a bit contradictory.
