Absolutely. It was immoral. And Catholic clergy/nun had no freaking business being involved.

What other crimes would you allow him to request...how about someone's murder...after all, it's his dying wish.

Just having a dying wish doesn't justify all things. Some might wish for a 9-year-old, or a harem, or for their enemy's head.
