Were moving to Norwood, Margarita said in Spanish. Its going to be a drastic change, but we dont have any other alternative. I dont have the slightest hope of staying.
Move back to Mexico.

"So Molina said he has decided. This spring, hes returning to Mexico."
Excellante! That is some good news, indeed. This shows that the law is working.
Why should citizens pay to subsidize the housing for illegals?

Figures the article came from Telluride. The ski industry would fold if it were not for the illegals. The entire Colorado western slope is dependent upon illegals, so with the democrats now controlling our state government, expect a lot of looking the other way.

I guess since these people are breaking the law and getting away with it, then there must be no law.
What the hell..I guess we can do whatever we want now.

We asked what was going on, and we heard a lot of people were moving to Montrose,Don't these characters have a clue? Montrose is STILL in Colorado. Duh! Or maybe rents are cheap enough in Montrose that they don't need a subsidy.

I am sick of these kind of stories about ILLEGAL aliens...boo hoo... It took my son-in-law YEARS to get here legally.....these people think the rules don't apply to them....they are over-running this country, sucking all the jobs and benefits of being an American from the Americans...send them all back...

"...theyre simply packing up and moving to Ridgway, Montrose or beyond, where rents are cheaper and the private landlords dont have to check IDs like bar bouncers."
Nice unbiased reporting, Pat Healy.
By the way, are the people in Ridgway and Montrose brain-dead, letting all these law-breakers roost in their town?
To: dennisw
The complete contempt that these criminals display for our laws is simply amazing.

How about this re-write:
She doesn't want to move away from this jumbled place, but she knows she has to. Because this is now the law: Anyone like Margarita who lives in state-funded housing must show identification to their landlord and sign a paper that says theyve never embezzled the legal and legitimate citizens' tax money.
Like scores of embezzlers in Telluride and across Colorado, Margarita illegally took money from the government and has no receipt.
So when her lease at the Village Court Apartments expires next month, she and her family will have to reimburse the money they stole or start serving an appropriate jail sentence.
After all, embezzling is against the law.
