Their trip can still serve a purpose, put the lot of them on a remote controlled plane and point it toward Tehran. They can test the Iranian's triple A for us so we'll know where to knock it out with cruise missiles.

I, for one, and very happy that Pelosi and Murtha are going to Iraq. I think it is great.

They aren't going to be allowed back into the US, right?

How long will it be before Nancy figures out that Speaker of the House is not the same as "Queen"?
She can confuse some of our allies & enemies, but she can't direct US policy. There's a GOP President and a closely divided Senate to contend with. Neither of them recognize her as sovereign.

I wonder how Murtha is going to get around on the bases over there. When I was there, there weren't many wheelchair ramps.

unless I'm mistaken, foreign policy is mostly the province of the executive branch. So this left wing banshee is going to Iraq to demonstrate what? Destruction of the Constitution?

A president who wants to fight these people could pull the rug out from under these strutting leftists so fast they'd go ass over tea kettles.

a clear sign the newly empowered Democratic Congress is not going to abide by the notion that foreign policy is the sole province of the White House.

Here's hoping gonadless Republican politicians are taking notes so they can payback a Democratic President similarly screw up the Constitutional delegation of powers. Clinton got a lot of support for his Bosnian adventure. No more, now we have 535 ambassadors in chief.

The Democrats are eager for this war, which they consider "Bush's War" to fail. They're doing their best to trip up any chance at wrapping this up successfully.

There are polls taken, but no one asks the question "do we want this war to fail?" An even better question to be asked of the American people would be "Do the Democrats want this war to fail?"

A president who wants to fight these people could pull the rug out from under these strutting leftists so fast they'd go ass over tea kettles.

And how would he do that with an obsequious "News Media" slavishly propping these Congressional Clowns up and a supposedly "Conservative" alternative media that spends all it time shooting it own in the back? So just how does a President "pull the rug out" under people when HIS side of the aisle are doing 50% of his enemies PR work for them?

Yes they are and they will continue to do what ever they want .. they are in charge of Congress

Jon Conyers at the loon rally said the President was CIC of the military .. not CIC of the american civilians

Also said that Congress can fire him and Cheney

Pelosi's trip wasn't symbolic, but pathetic and disgusting.

Did she learn anything? I don't know if I would say pathetic and disgusting especially if she can come back and tell the others what she saw over there. In fact it could be that she might even change her mind on not supporting the war. We will have to see what she found out before saying it was pathetic and disgusting....that may come but not quite yet.

Symbolic would be Nancy Pelosi straddling an IED, with Muslim radicals cheering her on in the background. Oh, wait, that's Jane Fonda, isn't it?
