You like statistics? Try this one:
The Jews killed, 6 million, represent about 38% of all the Jews alive in 1939. Genocide is more than just mass murder. It is an attempt to obliterate an entire people, simply because of who they are.
Ummmm . . .
Question? Wouldn't this be like saying there are too many African Americans on a council on black advancement? Or too many American Indians on a council of reservation relations? Or whatever *boggles*
How old is Jimmy now? Can't we just say he's losing it yet?
When is David Duke going to join the Carter Center advisory board?
Then you subscribe to a doctrine of vengeance. Knowing about evil events in history is good. Maybe we can learn from the past to avoid repeating the same evil in the future. Hunting down the last of the vanquished will only create new enemies. Raising memorials to the Holocaust to single out Jewish suffering is going to alienate those who otherwise wouldn't think about it. History should be in books and taught in school. Memorials are the result of political acts of groups drawing attention to themselves. The next group comes along, despises them, and tears them down.
since you have chosen to call me a Jew baiter, perhaps you can tell me what is causing the increase of antisemitism worldwide? People just hate the Jews for the Hell of it? I understand where the the Muslim gets his point of view, but Islam doesn't explain Europe and the Americas. Is the moral flaw in the Jew? Is it in the Gentile? Is it a human flaw. What should the Jew do to change it?
Nope. Read the article, this happened while he was still president.
Not surprised by this article at all !
There's a Blazing Saddles punchline here somewhere....
The Dummies think Bill Clinton is the greatest ex president
So everyone else who got wiped out was murdered not because of who they were? They were just randomly selected?
I Agree 100% with your statement !
I Like WND Too .....
Carter: Holocaust Council - not enough Nazis...
The Holocaust is unique because it was an industrialized, systematic attempt to kill every member of a religion on an entire continent, simply because of their faith.
If you do not understand that uniqueness, I cannot help you. I do not know how else to explain something so readily apparent.
"Too many Jews on the Holocaust Council", that's like saying there's too many players over 6 feet tall in the NBA.
Was this guy really President?
Perhaps he can invoke the use of the Fairness Doctrine for the council, equal amount of Jews, Nazi's and Muslims for a full fair account of the Holocaust.
There's a slight difference between killing enemy soldiers and killing your own (Jewish) citizens! (Not to mention those in neighboring countries....)
Animals deserve to be hunted down.
Animals deserve to be hunted down
So, the The Japanese should be hunting down Americans who killed hundreds of thousands "innocent" civilians in a nuclear inferno? The Germans should be hunting down Americans who incinerated a hundred thousand "innocent" civilians in Dresden?
I take it you're OK with this?
If you do not understand that uniqueness, I cannot help you. I do not know how else to explain something so readily apparent. Unique? Unlike the Armenian genocide which Hitler modeled his plan?
We were at war with Japan, and wanted to win so that we could stop our own losses. There's is some logic to that. We weren't trying to obliterate the Japanese. We were trying to win a war, and put an end to our own losses. What is the logic to killing your own (innocent) citizens? NONE.
The Armenian genocide is unique too in its own way. Are you saying they're indistinguishable?
Why the jousting on this issue? What is it that bothers you about Holocaust memorialization?
Do you consider Holocaust memorials some kind of invitation to further persecution? I think that's a sick attitude.
Look at black activists who label New York City as "Hymie Town."
And that's the fault of Jews?
I think you have some Joooooooooo issues. Do you have IHR bookmarked on your web browser?
