Those with the most votes win, and get to write legislation, and all that other stuff. Those who lose, get to live by the legislation, without input.
Personally, I like to have input, and have it carry weight. I cannot for the life of me imagine writing to a democrat, and have them give a rat's rear end as to what I have to say.
I always have the "perfect candidate" in mind.
Come November, I vote for the one who most closely resembles that image, pimples and all.
Tearing down someone who may be a, or the, candidate 2 years out serves no purpose other than placing doubt in the minds of those who are swayed by such.
Is Rudy the Man? I do not believe it. I have very strong feelings about his stance on the 2nd.
However, If he is the one left standing, and is up against Hillary or those of her ilk, I will not only support him and vote for him, I will also send all I can afford to back his play.
At this time, there is definitely a dirth of strong candidates that fit into the mold I envision.
