Hollywood may be debating who to support in the 2008 presidential election, but Dame Elizabeth Taylor already has her woman -- Hillary Rodham Clinton.
In a statement on Thursday, the actress said, "I have contributed to Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign because she has a mind of her own and a very strong one at that. I like the way she thinks. She is very savvy and a smart leader with years of experience in government, diplomacy and politics."
A spokesman for the 74-year-old actress said she had contributed $2,100 to the New York Democratic senator, the legal limit an individual can give in a primary campaign. Earlier the spokesman had said Taylor gave $100,000, but said that was an incorrect figure based on misinformation
Again, not trying to be at all critical.
I wasn't talking politics about Ms. Taylor, I was talking about the young Elizabeth being a very sweet, courteous, and intelligent girl...... as were you earlier.
:-)
Take a look at your mind if you would, and try to ask yourself what part of your mentality was exposed by that unnecessary post.
I think being a Hollywoodite necessarily involves integrity compromises.
IOW, Liz and Hillary agree that all men are ****ts. And Liz has given Hillary $100K to make sure everyknows what Liz and Hillary believe.
I just only think of Liz Taylor as the girl in my post # 113.
Generally, I care absolutely nothing about most peoples' political views, even on this website.
Nearly everyone is a political moron (not you), especially the geeks in Hollywood.
It's kinda hard not to: she's emotionally stunted; stuck in an emotional development phase, I estimate to be around age 12.
I wonder what her agreement for the money is with Hillary. Free Horses for all girls aged 12? Hillary and CA Dem pals will underwrite benefits for Liz's development of a Michael Jackson "grrrrl land" theme park?
No, it's not that she has a twelve year old mentality or emotional development. That's just wrong.
The woman had early severe back injuries from horse falls and other things. She's had more than enough problems and more than enough drugs and pain.
It's not that she has a "stunted" mind as you wish to say.
That's just silly, Alia.
Okay, you are fond of her. That's good, BTS.
I find her boring, predictable, and pathetic. My mum would be so disappointed in how Liz has turned out.
I'd be impressed if she'd back that up with actual examples.
Perspective is tough, eh?
Apparently you do not know one piece of information what five decades of pharmaceuticals can do to the human mind of a person with vertebrae damage!
You're lucky that you don't know that .......... but you are incredibly foolish and cruel on the subject of Elizabeth Taylor and her frame of mind and physical health.
By the way, who gives a damn who she is supporting in politics or for the Presidency ?
One thing that is clear from your posts here, you are not on the top of your game today. I never saw this side of you.
Keep it to yourself.
She who funds my enemies, is my enemy. There's no Sweden with me about this.
I'm not obsessed with Liz Taylor. That she has just given money of her own to a woman who hates America, is very telling. Or is that too much perspective for you?
It is no perspective.
Saddens me you don't see what is yet to come, beyond the sea.
LOL yes poor Debbie. Actually that was a blessing for her in the end!
