The Lebanese army, struggling to restore order to the streets of the capital after violence Thursday, has imposed a nighttime curfew in Beirut, a military official said.
The official, speaking on customary condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media, told The Associated Press that the curfew would last from 8:30 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday.

Curfew should have been in place long ago.
Here's hoping the Lebanese people stand strong for their elected government and not fall into the grasps and under the spell of those who seek to overthrow it.
Hizbollah and their friends in Tehran thought the Lebanese government would cave. Incidentally, where do the Democrats stand on Lebanon?
According to Fox news, Nasrallah(Hezbo lunatic) has called for 'his people' to 'clear the streets'.
Not sure if this means 'clear the streets' of his enemies or 'clear the streets' and go home. Hope it is the later, still too little too late. Someone needs to put a bullet in his head imho.

I suspect that the Democrats, as usual, are standing someplace out of harms way. Because the best decisions are always made after the fact.
