I like Hunter and agree with most of his positions. That said, he has about as much chance of being nominated as Kucinich has for the Rats. He ain't in the club.

"from California"

This alone is enough to send red flags up in my mind. The only good man to come out of California in my lifetime, to my knowledge, was Ronald Reagan. The jury is still out in my mind about Hunter so for this reason I am throwing my support behind Tancredo in '08

the Republican party is going to be lining up behind Rudy Guiliani

So will the left wing MSM. Anything to support their desired Hillary/Obama 2008 ticket.

I'm glad to see that his web site is now more than just a contribution page. In addition to covering his positions, it also allows volunteer signups.

I understand, I like Tancredo a lot but I have had a grudge with him every since he "seemed" to be one of the first Republicans to sink his teeth into Tom DeLay's flesh during his indictment etc.

That whole thing may have been distorted. Anyway. Duncan Hunter is a great guy, a veteran and a real conservative.

Good luck with Tom T., we (The Hunters!!!) will be here when you are ready to jump in.

Honoring the Sanctity of Life

“Throughout the world, the protection of individual rights is the proud and identifying mark of the American character. This should also include the unborn child. They deserve the opportunity for a chance in life and to make their mark in the ongoing human effort to make the world a better place. A nation that can spend millions of dollars searching for life on other planets should be able to discern life in the beating heart of an unborn child.”

I am sure you were clipping for emphasis but did you get all of OM's context.
The pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, and pro-illegal immigration lobby in the Republican party is going to be lining up behind Rudy Guiliani

I like Tancredo, but his biggest thing is illegal immigrants. No problem with that, but If we loss this war, the pooch is screwed. Duncan is strong on illegals, but his whole approach is national security. As far as the Jury being out, neither of these men need a jury, their actions have spoken load and clear. They have very similar positions, it just remains to be seen whos big issue gets the most traction. My money is on Duncan.

"Who was the last congressman to win the Presidency without executive experience? Lincoln?"

I think there is a Mayor running also...

This argument (if it is an argument) is sports stats, Last team to win an night game on the road in October with NE wind blowing, with a left hander.

Hunter is the only chance this country has and the only chance the GOP will have winning an election again in your lifetime.

When 20-30- million Illegals get the vote that will be game over for and hope of a GOP victory.

I am not too sure on that one...

I doubt it.

HOWEVER1, if Swartzy sees it too his advantage too push the guy, you never know with California in such a flux.

HOWEVER2, Bush1 and Bush2 have together one three national EC counts without the delegates from the sovereign state of California.

Thanks. I appreciate that. As for your Delay comment. Delay could have fought. He rolled over and let the demoncraps run him outta office. Makes me wonder what he was hiding. I suspect that Tom Tancredo wonders the same thing. I'm tired of mambly, pambly "conservatives." I want a real, honorable MAN to step up and run our country. Hunter could be that man but so far Tancredo is the only one with the b***s to honestly say what is on his mind. Everyone else, including Hunter, is trying to be politically correct and nice.
WE ARE AT WAR not only with Islam-o-facists but Marxist liberal "progressives (sorry for the redundancy)" who are all trying to destroy our society and culture. We don't need "nice." We need a man to step up and take charge. A man that will stand behind his convictions and one that isn't ashamed to say what those convictions are.
I don't see it with Hunter yet.
