DHS yet to release evidence on convicted border agents

A Texas congressman demanded that the Department of Homeland Security's Inspector General's Office turn over documents they promised more than three months ago regarding the case of two convicted El Paso Border Patrol agents or face a subpoena or contempt of Congress if they refuse to do so.

News Update: Texas Congressman Ted Poe addresses the House on January 10th with the following speech:

DEPUTY GILMER HERNANDEZ--BORDER LAWMAN

Mr. Speaker, in the small border town of Rocksprings, Texas, where drug smugglers and human smugglers sneak across the Rio Grande into America, lone Deputy Sheriff Gilmer Hernandez was on patrol. In the stillness of the vast night, a speeding Suburban runs a red light. Deputy Hernandez, 25, stops the vehicle, but suddenly, without warning, the vehicle takes off.

Deputy Hernandez says the vehicle tried to run him down. The lawman fires several shots, one of which shoots out the rear tire, just like in the movies. The vehicle stops, and eight or nine illegals jump out and take off running into the sagebrush. One illegal had a minor injury from a bullet.

The U.S. Government rounds up six or seven of the illegals and, guess what, prosecutes Deputy Hernandez, claiming he recklessly discharged his firearm and uses the illegals as witnesses against the lawman during a trial.

Citizens of his town are mad. One said, "Our deputy's in jail for doing his job."

Mr. Speaker, another example of how the Federal Government is more concerned about people illegally invading America than it is about the men who protect America. Once again, our government is on the wrong side of the border war.

And that's just the way it is.

In it's 115 year history, the rural town of Rocksprings, Texas (population 1290) has only encountered two devastating events that have tested the character and fortitude of the people in this community. The first event, April 12, 1927, was an F5 tornado over 1 mile wide, that virtually wiped the city "off the map" by destroying 235 of the town's 247 buildings.

The second catastrophe occurred December 1,2006 when Edwards County Sheriff's Deputy Gilmer Hernandez was de-humanized and humiliated in a conviction stemming from an incident involving an illegal immigrant.

It is noteworthy, that in both events, the people of Rocksprings and Edwards County joined together to overcome the obstacles thrown before them.

This is the stuff of lynching. Which the fear of usually prevented.

But hey, it's the "feds." They don't have to worry about justice, they are "the law" by golly! Well here is a little something that a few pizzed off Americans wrote...

That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government

Now, for all you fed.gov and WH lurkers out there that are reading this, ya might wanna let this one burn in real good.

American Citizens are pizzed. Real pizzed. They are fed up with the lies and bs. They have not, are not and will not EVER believe the kr@p that is being shoveled out by MSM or the WH about how friggin lovely it’s gonna be to have 60 to 100 million bums getting A – M – N – E – S – T – Y and promptly start raking in benefits.

If one puts these two main thoughts together it is apparent that there is THE VERY REAL POSSABILITY of an internal war, right here, very soon, that the federal government doesn’t have a laughing snowball's chance of surviving in any form whatsoever.

How do I know this? Simple. Three years ago most folks I spoke with didn't have a clue what was going on at the mexican border. Now? I bring up the subject and almost everyone knows exactly what is going on and they know the federal government is jailing BP agents for attempting to do their jobs and kissing the collective azz of a bunch of criminals from south of the border. They are fully aware of the outrageous double standard in the application of the law in that the criminal illegal aliens are being given a free pass on the most egregious crimes in order to not "offend" mexico. They will tell you it $ucks. Badly. Badly enough that they now FULLY support wiping the slate clean in DC.

That would be totally clean. As in gone. Americans can see absolutely no useful purpose for the federal government and see a lot of their fellow Americans being destroyed by that very same government that has it's hand in their back pockets every April 15th. And they are pizzed. As in enraged.

So, one more time...
