Very few people have any idea how important this component of the case is.
Of course they are "stonewalling". We don't want to offend mexicans, do we?
This proves Sutton's Office doesn't want the public to ever really find out the truth.
The Enemy Within. Americans have no idea what malevolent traitors fill their government.
Have you seen the myths of Johnny Sutton's myths? I'm going to post it later today. Perhaps late in the morning.
"Furthermore, Aldrete-Davila was given a green card AND a car, at American taxpayer expense, so that he could drive back and forth between Mexico. Aldrete-Davila later broke his immunity agreement in October 2005, when officers say he attempted to smuggle 1,000 pounds of marijuana into America, while driving this tax-payer funded vehicle! U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton further extended immunity to this additional felony and sealed the indictment from jurors. Aldrete-Davilas arrest record was expunged, and a gag order was issued. The jury was not informed of the second smuggling arrest, and Sutton issued a public statement that Aldrete-Davila was never arrested on drug charges."
Johnny Sutton is worse than Mike Nifong.
Shame such scumbags aren't on the front lines overseas or at the border or walking a beat. I imagine their perceived delusional insulation from the real world would get them hurt very badly. Then again, as long as the crooked puppets can skim from the taxpayer while at the same time receive under the table perks enforcing someone else's agenda, it really doesn't matter to them.
We don't know that he didn't have a gun. We do know he didn't shoot, and that no witness can say they saw a gun.
If the two agents had aprehended him when he surrendered, rather than (as some testimony states) Compean deciding to at least act like he was going to beat the guy with a gun, and then falling over, not only would we KNOW if he had a weapon, the guy would be in jail now for smuggling drugs, and they wouldn't be in jail because they wouldn't have shot him.
Until we see the transcript,we can't really know, but my speculation is that it was THAT part of the story (the part about Daviles surrendering with his hands up and then running when Compean fell down trying to hit him) that makes the charge that they shot at him for no reason to be more believable.
I want to see the transcript, and can't understand how I can have the entire Meet The Press program in writing the next day, but this court can't release a trial transcript months later when it has been requested.
Surely the United States Congress can afford the $9,000.
I'll bet there's a reason that you didn't provide a link, other than forgetfulness.
LOL
"You could say the same about Mafia informers, etc."
IMO, this is a different situation and I think you know why. This will only encourage the Cartels. I put it in the same light as the Dims encouraging our Muslim enemies.
I agree, it's not the best comparison, but not for the reason you think. A mafia informer 'betrays' his organization. This smuggler did not. But I still think it's a stretch to say that granting limited-use immunity encourages the grantee (or others like him) to engage in more illegal activity.
It sounds more like unlimited-use immunity to me. In fact, it sounds like a "Get out of jail free" card.
"Aldrete-Davila later broke his immunity agreement in October 2005, when officers say he attempted to smuggle 1,000 pounds of marijuana into America, while driving this tax-payer funded vehicle! The only stories I can find on that are stories reporting on someone else's story, leading back to something a Congressman issued in a press release. With all the other deliberate misinformation flying around the web about this case, such as the "he was issued a green card" issue above, I don't believe it.
Then it would be really really easy for da gobernment to clear up all of these little misunderstandings. RELEASE THE REPORTS AND TRIAL TRANSCRIPT. There now, wasn't that easy. Apparently not because they told the congressman that to get the reports , he would have to submit a Freedom of Information request to the Justice Department. A congressman! I heard this from his own mouth on the radio this morning. Still think there's nothing sinister going on here?
