Our Generals are devolving into drooling morons.
The last thing the US Military needs is to be involved in "Nonlethal activities". It is immoral and I believe even criminal to place Soldiers and Marines lives at risk trying to "minimize" casualties on the enemies side. Such technologies only support GQ Generals who want to sit "connected" 500 -5000 miles away and control American GI's and their Junior Officers who actually do the fighting and dying like automatons. Generals for whom war is secondary to their Golf Game on Saturday and their pension fund. Kill the enemy, Kill their supporters and let our kids come home in one piece if at all possible.

If we get our troops involved in police activities, we'd better give them the tools for the job. That means being able to start non-lethal and quickly escalate to lethal. If our soldiers cause too much collateral damage we'll create more insurgents than we can kill (politically, not technically).
