"Wolf didn't ask the VP if he ever had hemorrhoids, the clap, about his manhood or his sex life. Wolf asked Cheney about one of his two children, who has been involved in national politics."

His children are not relevant to the discussion. What is relevant are topics related to his position as VP. His daughter's affairs are not relevant. That includes whatever poloitical activity she's involved in and her personal affairs. If Blitzer wants to probe into the daughter's affairs, he can invite her to show up to answer questions.

"A lesbian daughter who is pregnant and about to give birth out of wedlock."

It appears that's all you're concerned about. Cheney's not interested in involving himself in anyone's condemnation of his daughter, or of her personal behavior, or of getting involved in promoting Dobson's opinions.

"The best way to handle such a serious of questions, is to just give an answer and move on."

It's not a serious question. It's a personal question, that's not a rpoper question to expect any father to answer, let alone answer in public. The question was intended to pit Cheney against his daughter, or Cheney againt the Dobsonites. Cheney properly told Blitzer it was none of his business.

"You people are acting like this is some kind of unethical inquisition. It wasn't!"

It's a vicious question, intended to create a confrontation between Cheney and his daughter, or Cheney and the Dobsonites. Cheney recognized the vicious nature and intent of the question and properly rejected it.

"Politics isn't for the faint of heart or thin skin whiners either."

So, why are you whining?

As I pointed out, there are differing opinions on that topic.

>>>>It appears that's all you're concerned about.

Wolf`s line of questioning is what prompted this thread. The question had to do with Cheney's politically active, pregnant, lesbian, unwed daughter. Answer the question and move on.

You think this was an intrusion into Cheney's life. I think the VP fumbled that part of the interview. The questioning was proper.

>>>>It's a vicious question ...

Grow up!

Fact is, many posters on this thread have taken this far too personally. Whining and barking to the high heaven. That includes you.
