..it's an impossible position to be in as a public servant

To have a child that you love--and perhaps be totally opposed to her lifestyle choices

And to have a hostile MSM which would love to drive a wedge between you and your family member--not to mention destroy your ability to lead.

IMHO Cheney is the best man for '08

Cheney's real beef on the issue is with Focus on the Family. Blitzer was only capitalizing what was given to him on a silver platter by Focus.

Sure, Cheney endeared himself to the base, and would only alienate himself with that same base if you did to Focus what he did to Blitzer

For the Record: I AM TIRED OF ALL THIS CHENEY LESBIAN CRAP!

President Bush would have been much better served picking someone else for VP in 2000. I can't think of a national politician that has been so bad at promoting a good image. Even that adulterer and rapist Bill Clinton was better at it.
