The Kerbala attack: An inside job.
These days have been terribly bloody for both the American military and the Iraqi civilians as large-scale sweeps in Baghdad are being prepared.

While most attacks have much in common when it comes to their goals and the destruction and pain they leave, some attacks are of a quality that suggest some messages that are more dangerous beyond the immediate harm they cause.

Our enemy does not abide by the Geneva Convention...and therefore, we should not either

Did the media report on this; and what do the Democrats say?

Were they carrying AK-47's or M-16's when they did this, and how did they time it so well? Smells like an inside job to me, I would be asking the guards some pretty tough questions right about now...

IF this is really the case, I would imagine that it was NOT the Mahdi Army or a Shia militia, but Al-Qaeda using terrorists who were not Iraqi/Arab. They had to be white/caucasian Muslims (maybe some were black Africans) to impersonate Americans. There certainly are Chechenyan, Bosnian and European-convert Jihadis entering Iraq via Syria...

"Attackers who killed five U.S. troops at a government building in Karbala posed as U.S. military officials to get past Iraqi guards, a Karbala police spokesman said."

I expect the next attack within the US will employ this technique. Posing as some law-enforcement officials, etc.
