I note that developers and general contractors have been loving life the last 20 years thanks to our friends from south of the border.
I also note that house prices have not leveled off or decreased even when indexed for inflation as the shrinking labor costs associated with using illegals hasn't been reflected in the market.

let's see..amnesty would create 20 million new tax payers
along with minimum wage increases, putting business owners in a bind (health insurance, tax responsibilities, accounting measures)
Do you think politico's are interested in votes?..or the money new tax payers would put into government coffers?
Do you think the politico's are thinking about the average tax paying American citizen today?. What the unemployment rate is going to be when illegals start pushing wages up and the companies start laying people off?

I also note that house prices have not leveled off Yep, and when those very same developers get squeezed by illegals who own such companies, then you will hear them wailing.
Think it isn't happening? - a business card from Port St. Lucie, Florida
100% genuine, 100% illegal.
