Dozens of Republican leaders joined Democrats in taking aim at President Bush's State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Facing a split within his own party and sagging approval ratings over Iraq, the president faced a major challenge: to win over the American public and to win back the support of prominent Republicans, who oppose his strategy for Iraq.

They are breaking Reagan's maxim: "Thou shalt speak no evil of a fellow Republican."

RINOs.

From the President on down, these Republicans In Name Only are embarrassing to true Conservatives.

How hard is it?

Less Government. Lower Taxes. Strong Defense and Borders. No Corruption.

We have no public relations savvy warriors willing to confront the treasonous left and their media sycophants.

The article cites four who disagreely outrightly. "Dozens"? I want names.

President Bush lost the base, and the rest is history.

He was unable to put coherent policies on the table and get things done. Under his leadership we lost the House and Senate.

Why fight a War on Terror in a far-away land and leave our borders at home wide open?

Why criticize Israel for building a wall and fighting back against raghead terrorists to defend their own country?

Why spend like a drunken sailor on Socialist programs nobody wants, and thereby confusing an entire generation about which party is fiscally-responsible?

Why protect the corrupt former Clinton regime, and let continuous baseless attacks from Democrats go unanswered, thereby confusing an entire generation about which party is corrupt?

Why endorse and embrace Clinton with plum roles in high-profile world stage projects, and take him personally into the Bush family, thereby confusing an entire generation about Clinton's corruption, lies, and incompetent defense of our nation?

Mind-boggling.

"To put more American personnel in harm's way without a realistic chance for success is something I'm not in favor of," said Specter. And Snowe, who has signed on with Sens.Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.), Joe Biden (D-Del.) and Carl Levin (D-Mich.) in a resolution opposing the surge, said, "I continue to believe that adding additional troops does not address the root causes of violence in Iraq."

The speech didn't sway Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), who said that he remains opposed to the troop increase. "It hasn't changed by mind," Brownback said. "I think we have to have a bipartisan buy-in on the war in Iraq."

.....

Well, i'm not surprised by any of those names, useful idiots. I count 4, wonder who the others were? I bet we can all guess.

Why fail to name the real foreign enemy of America, Islam, thereby confusing an entire generation about why we are in Iraq, who we are fighting, and why?

Why fail to name the real domestic enemy of America, Democrats and Liberal Media sycophants, thereby confusing an entire generation about treason and its consequences.

And why not? Unlike in the past there will be no price to pay. NO losing prime party assignments. No one will come to the Presidents defense.
There is no defense for some of his policies such as AMNESTY for ILLEGALS.

What "prominent" republicans? Puuuuulllease! Who?: Collins, Hagel, Warner...The Republican party is nothing more now than a cabal of spaghetti spined idiots who will be in the minority for another 40 years.

Thanks for nothing!

Explain to me how declaring war on a religion, which has about 1 billion members, is a good idea. You want to declare war on Turkey (a NATO member)? You want to declare war on Saudi Arabia and tank the oil supply? You want to attack Jordan and Afghanistan?

We are at war with Islamic extremists who promote terror. Your statement is simply knee-jerk ignorance.

Your mouth is getting loose these days, Miss Marple.

I would recommend you stop it, now.

Declaring ignorance is reckless and unwarranted.

I am not backing down on my comment. If you can't explain how to declare war on Islam while keeping Turkey as a NATO partner, then you were simply shooting off your mouth.

I am tired of listening to this stuff, and if you don't like what I said, too darn bad.

And now to the point.

We are not at war with 'terrorists'.

We are at war with Islamists, and in some cases, fully state-sanctioned.

Because RINOs and Conservatives in general have little or no comprehension of the street, they are unaware that the vast majority of Americans have no idea why we are in Iraq other than faux WMD.

There's your real ignorance, Little Miss.

And not doing a damn thing about it contributed to the recent election losses.

They have no idea they are being watched closely by us....

You've got that right. I have nothing but contempt for such behavior. They haven't got a clue that they are not just betraying our President but all America and our troops.

As the British would say, "Sod 'em."

You got it.

Moronic RINO Bushbots are the real cause of the loss of the recent elections.

The base is sick to death of the incompetences and incoherency of this administration, and sycophants like yourself do nothing to FIX THE PROBLEM.

FIX IT, MISS MARPLE, AND STOP BLAMING THE VICTIMS!

Here is your exact comment:

Why fail to name the real foreign enemy of America, Islam, thereby confusing an entire generation about why we are in Iraq, who we are fighting, and why?

You didn't say Islamists, you said Islam.

Now you are trying to do the two-step and act as if I am the ignorant one. Well, there it is in black and white.

Care to explain how we should treat Turkey? I have all morning to wait for your reply.
