In an age of stealth aircraft, the MIG-35 is about as unstealthy as a WWII warbird.

That's not the aircraft in question.That picture is of the "5th generation" Mig 1.44 programme which started in the Soviet era for a new air superiority fighter.That programme used Mig-35 designation for a short period.

The designation has now been given to a heavily modified variant of the Mig-29 with thrust vectoring engines,great internal fuel & probably an electronically scanned array radar.

Can it cruise supersonic at Military power? Nope.

Can it shoot a missile up a gnat's butt at 35km? Nope.

Is it all but invisible to any type of radar? Nope.

That isn't the MiG-35. That is the MiG 1.42/1.44 FLATPACK. The MiG-35 that the article is on about is a development of the MiG-29.
