My Grandpa was there a few days after.. While watching a movie later in life (98 i think) the opening scene is that of a freshly attacked pearl harbor. He was pretty old in 98 and his hearing wasn't the best. He turned to my dad and whispered as quietly as he could. "Johnny, i was there just after it happened.. It looked just like that!" Not knowing how loud he actually said that.. the whole movie theater started to stand up and applaud him.

I've never seen my dad and grandpa with tears in their eyes before that night..

GOd Bless all that our soldiers do for this great country.
