Do you know that the President has enough people attacking and criticizing him that he does not need more? The man needs our support and needs 100%, specially in this time of war. Remember that in "many cases" what starts as criticism will evolve to negativism which will evolve to hate, it is simple human nature.

Are you old enough to have voted for Reagan?

People like you, said the same thing about Reagan, when he was president and now they deny it. You'll deny your present posts about President Bush, someday. :-)

Would you care to expound on just what you know about our President's faith?

What is that supposed to mean??

My feeling is that any man, regardless of his station in this life, who implies that Islam is on the same par with Christianity, cannot possibly understand the tenets of the Christian faith, much less be considered a 'GREAT' adherent of that faith.

Anyone who would be a critic to someone's faith is NOT someone I wish to converse with.

That criticism of the President's Christianity was lower than a snake's belly. Poster really exposed an ugly character for all of us to see, eh?

The President plan is not income distribution but rather a tax cut and it is the ultimate free market capitalism.

You really need to read about the plan, because it is indeed income redistribution. Those with good health plans will be taxed on any amount over the set amount the GOV'T sets ($7,500 for a single, about 14,500 or so for a family). Then, that money will be used to finance tax breaks for those with no or poor health plans so they can go out and buy their own. But it's on the backs of those who have done well in their life's work and therefore will be penalized for having a good health insurance plan. Think about this. Tell me how it isn't income redistribution, using the IRS tax code to do it.

If it's DOA, then why are your drawers so twisted about it? On and on and on about something DOA. Very odd...

I for one, would like to know, exactly, what the Dems "plan" is for Iraq or terrorism. They talk about "diplomacy" like it's the holy grail. Unbelievable. Oh yeah, that'll work./s

"Remember, last week Jack Bauer said it, too."

I don't care how people pronounce nuclear, chimbley, alunimum,or linolem. It is what they do that counts.

Talking about up or down votes on Judges. Let's see the Dems give their prized bipartisan support to his Judges! HA!

Yea, HA! The Dems sole position on anything is to be against this President.

What about people who don't really need health insurance, but need something else?

C'mon now CharlesWayne you knew someone was going to ask this.

Who does NOT need health insurance except the truly fabulously wealthy>

" Democrats have no clue, no plan, and they are idiots."

And that is a very light criticism......but well said.

I really don't think North Korea becoming a rogue nuke state 55 years later, opposed by its sponser state, China, was predictible. Rogue states come and go.

But does the average Joe, Jane, and soccer mom analyze it that way? Predictable or not, N. Korea is indeed a big threat in the minds of most Americans, and Iran in a similar way. So an argument that an early withdrawal from Korea leaving totalitarians in charge ultimately led to one of our 3 greatest current threats might resonate. Worth a shot.

BTW, I don't mind you staying, I just thought it was funny.

Have you responded to my substantive comments about the health plan? If so, I'll get to it, I'm still reading all the comments in order.....

"along with your own plans to solve our health insurance problems and the mounting health care costs and entitlement programs that are driving the small businessman out of business and the large corporate employers overseas!!"

Any plan that unlike Bush's, doesn't tax the rich in order to redistribute it to the poor via the IRS tax code. I'm all for getting rid of redundant or useless entitlement programs. That's where Bush should channel his energy. That and on ambulance chasing lawyers that are lousing up insurance costs for everyone. Why didn't he talk about that?

Bush made a good case that he should have one last chance to try get it right in Iraq. Better late than never. The key is to make Iraq hew to its part of the bargain, and if not, have a Plan B to try something else that avoids a regional gotterdamerung, with potentially terrorist hosts here and there, as an end game, or power centers that try to get rid of the remaining moderate Arab sources of power, and several more states in the region going for the nukes. I suspect that is a robust partition program. The US troops will still have to be around to manage it. Blood, sweat and toil remains the only option, and of course the Dems that are remotely responsible and intelligent know that.
