It was a fine speech. GWB looked centered, sure and at peace with his decisions. I thinnk he has transcended politics, knows the stakes in the WOT and was head and shoulders above any other politician in that room.
He is a fine man, a fine president. He deserves better than what he is getting including from smart aleck adolescent freepers on board. I understand dissent but what I see is disrespect, smart remarks, lack of thought or depth from some.
It sickens me.

The Dems position on the war... they say they were lied to, misled, that it's the Presdient's war, that we shoud leave..... G*ddammit! Don't they understand that all that is irrelevant? Yes, it was....but the issue of Illegal aliens being given amnesty, and allowing more and more to come into this country un-abated, and anchor babies being given a free citizenship is still b#$#@hit!
That doesn't mean W is not doing a great job in OTHER areas, but on Illegals, he's on the wrong side of the issue.

I counted the Pelosi blinks vs. the Cheney blinks. She blinked between 10-12 for every one of his. Actually, when he blinked, it was a quick double blink but then she would blink at least ten times before he blinked again. So which one is the alien?

She was in the back, not in an aisle seat. Wearing purple and pink with hideous dirty hair. The camera only showed her twice and not up close, either.
