No, it really is all about the trouble, and the money is a minor afterthought. Russia could get ten times the money trading with us. But prefers sticking fingers in our eye - it is more amusing.

That is true. Russia sells now to 50+ countries. No credit just cash on counter. She alreday overtook the highest soviet weapon sales.
Accualyy how she would know what country out of those 50+ will be the enemyof USa in the future?
