Questions remain about whether former Mayor Rudy Giuliani will follow through with a 2008 White House bid, but as he ramps up his Manhattan-based campaign, Hizzoner will also be getting a little help from some friends in Washington. GOP Reps. Peter King, N.Y., Vito Fossella, N.Y., and Pete Sessions, Texas, will head Hizzoner's Capitol Hill outreach efforts. King represents a Long Island district and Fossella holds a Staten Island-based seat. Both represent the kind of ethnically diverse, middle-class suburbs filled with voters who Giuliani backers think would warm to the former mayor's bid. The two have been allies of Giuliani dating to his tenure at City Hall. Sessions, who hails from an affluent Dallas-area district and was edged out late last year in his bid to chair the National Republican Congressional Committee, will help Giuliani with congressional conservatives and work with the other Texans on the former mayor's finance team.
The trio have already begun talking to lawmakers about Giuliani and have gotten a "pretty good response" so far, said a Hill Republican. They are working with Team Rudy now to get Giuliani back to D.C. so he can make the pitch himself. King, who said he discussed the race at some length with Giuliani at a meeting a few weeks ago, is "convinced" that the former mayor is "absolutely committed to" running.

NO northeastern inner-city liberal RINOs need apply.
HMMMMMMM! Do ever get the feeling of Deja Vu??? You just said that on my other thread.
All I keep hearing is how the 9/11 workers are in need of money, more money, more money.
I do believe they all have health insurance in the first place, and sadly, life insurance policies as well. So where is that money, and why is the media allowing hitlery to go on and on about how this President is not caring about these 9/11 workers.
She should Ask Bloomie or Wacky Pataki! I think they would know - not president Bush.
It bears repeating over, and over, and over, and over again.
